
Sharon Dixon
Chief of Case Management
Sharon Dixon promoted to Chief of Case Management in 2021. She provides management and oversight of Consumer Support Services units and oversees case management activities in accordance with the agency’s mission and core values. She monitors overall service delivery and customer service to ensure the department’s efficiency and adheres to the agency’s policies, procedures and practices.
Mrs. Dixon began her career working with individuals that have an intellectual disability in 1996 when she worked with a vendor in the SCLARC community. She later transferred to North Los Angeles County Regional Center in 1998 as a Service Coordinator to continue to serve and advocate for individuals who are intellectually disabled.
She began her career with SCLARC as a Service Coordinator in 2000 and promoted to Quality Assurance Specialist in 2007 where she (monitored providers to ensure they provided appropriate services and supports according to T17 & T22 regulations for those we serve). Within the Community Supports Division Mrs. Dixon promoted to Resource Developer where she assisted prospective vendors to complete Program Designs for their facility, or SLS programs, and walked them through the vendorzation process. She then took on the role as Housing Service and Resource Specialist in 2013 where she provided technical assistance to SCLARC’s Adult Residential Facility for Persons with Special Health Care Needs (ARFPSHN) and other specialized facilities. Mrs. Dixon promoted to Program Manager in the Consumer Support Services Department in 2015, and Program Manager II- for the Specialized Services Unit (SSU) in 2018 where she worked with our hard to serve forensically involved individuals, interfaced with DDS regularly, and provided additional supports to the Leadership team as needed.
Mrs. Dixon received a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Social Work from California State University, Los Angeles, and a Master’s of Social Work from California State University, Long Beach.
