Diana Huerta
Board Member
Diana Huerta is the Bilingual Family Support Specialist for the Los Angeles region of the Parent Training and Information Center, TASK.
As a parent to a child with special needs and who is a consumer of the South Central Los Angeles Regional Center, she has first-hand experience navigating the special education system and being an advocate for her family.
This journey has reinforced her passion for empowering families to expand their knowledge and thrive within their communities.
In her role, she mentors’ parents to achieve a broader understanding of their child’s educational needs.
Ms. Huerta received her Bachelor of Arts in Gender, Ethnicity, and Multicultural Studies from California Polytechnic University of Pomona with a focus in Chicano/Latino Studies.
