
Board Members
Hazel Lozano is a 1.5-generation Fil-Am artist acting in, directing, writing, and producing work that creates and engages community in social issues. She moved to Los Angeles in 2017 and is currently a Teacher/Teaching Assistant in Theater Arts at the University of Southern California. She is also a Loan Processor at Farmers Insurance Group Federal Credit Union.
Hazel has extensive experience in public engagement/relations with more than 10 years of Administrative and Leadership experience in those areas. Her passion for quality of life issues, especially for low-income individuals with disabilities, stems from her having a brother who has been disabled since the age of seven due to brain damage from meningitis.
Education:
South Central Los Angeles Regional Center (SCLARC) provides education, assessment, training and services in the communities of South Los Angeles, Watts, Leimert Park, Florence/Firestone, West Adams, and the cities of Bell, Bell Gardens, Compton, Cudahy, Downey, Huntington Park, Lynwood, Maywood, Vernon, South Gate, North Carson, Gardena, and Paramount.
