Wanda Cathran
Board Member
Wanda Cathran joined the SCLARC Board of Directors in October 2016 as a result of her interest in parent advocacy for individuals served by SCLARC. Wanda also has a son who is served by SCLARC and is passionate about ensuring there is an awareness of the services that SCLARC and all regional centers provide. She has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Accounting and has been in financial management and operations in the Banking Industry for the past 23 years. Wanda currently works for a Credit Union where she obtained her accreditation as a Certified Diversity Professional and transitioned from AVP of Operations into the role of DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) Leader. Helping people has always been a passion of hers and in her current role will lead the Credit Union in the work of helping others to see that everyone has access to the same opportunities and services regardless of who they are. She serves the community through her church outreach for Laundry Love and her contributions to SCLARC through the Board of Directors. Given her background and experience, it’s natural that she would work with SCLARC to help individuals served by the regional center.
