South Central Los Angeles Regional Center’s (SCLARC) advisory committees help our agency connect with its stakeholders. SCLARC’s advisory committees consist of the following:
- The Consumer Advisory Committee (CAC),
- The Parent Advisory Committee (PAC)
- The Vendor Advisory Committee (VAC).
- The Self-Determination Local Advisory Committee (SD-LAC).
Our advisory committees consist of volunteers who meet regularly to provide advice and/or support to SCLARC. Committee members represent the regional center’s consumers, parents and vendors. These advisory committees help strengthen SCLARC programs, improve management, review and evaluate SCLARC’s goals and implement its mission all while promoting awareness and improving relationships.
We believe that our advisory committees benefit South Central Los Angeles Regional Center by assisting in the delivery of services as well as guaranteeing the implementation of the Lanterman Act’s mandates.
