South Central Los Angeles Regional Center’s board advisory committees were established to provide advice, guidance and recommendations to SCLARC’s leadership team.
Executive Committee
The Executive Committee assists SCLARC’s leadership team with strategic planning, decision making and from time to time assists in reviewing the board of directors Bylaws and provides amendment recommendations to the Board of Directors.
Finance Committee
The Finance Committee reviews monthly financial reports on behalf of the Board of Directors and provides recommendations for approval of policies.
Supportive Services Committee (SSC)
The Supportive Services Committee ensures that SCLARC’s programs meet the requirements provided by the California Department of Developmental Services.
Recruitment and Training Committee
The Board Recruitment and Training Committee is responsible for assessing and recommending candidates for the Board. They provide recommendations of Director Candidates as well as new and ongoing training topics for Board members and for Board retreats.
