SCLARC’s Services
Our mission as an organization is to provide the best care possible in a culturally sensitive and family-focused environment. We help our stakeholders and their families gain skills in the areas of:
- Life Skills
- Self Advocacy
- Empowerment
- Disability Education
- Systems Utilization
SCLARC’s staff serves as an essential service planning component that empowers individuals to live successfully and enables families to gain knowledge, skills, and support. From employee volunteer efforts to partnership investments with other nonprofits, we are deeply committed to leading, collaborating and advocating for service outcomes that reduce disparities in our service area.
Person Centered Relationships Are Our Priority
SCLARC Can Help Advocate for You
One of the most important roles SCLARC provides is coordinating and advocating for services on behalf of eligible individuals. Many services are available through generic resources such as local school districts, Medi-Cal, Medicare, private insurance, and California Children Services (CCS).
SCLARC coordinates the services for individuals we serve so that they can experience success in all areas of their lives. This is called case management or service coordination. A Case Manager or Service Coordinator will be assigned to help you. He/she will help develop a plan for services, tell you what services are available, and help you connect with service providers.
