Teyanna Williams

Mrs. Williams is a licensed California attorney with a Master’s in Public Administration from Cal State University, Dominguez Hills, a Juris Doctorate from Arizona State University College of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
In 2022, Mrs. Williams began serving as the Vice Chancellor, Human Resources for the Los Angeles Community College District, the largest community college district in the United States. The District’s nine colleges and satellite offices serve over 200,000 full-and part-time students throughout Los Angeles and certain unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County. In this capacity, Mrs. Williams oversees LACCD’s Health Benefits, HR Operations, Academic Hiring, Employee and Labor Relations, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility Departments, and serves as the District’s Chief Labor Negotiator for collective bargaining related matters.
Mrs. Williams previously served as a SCLARC Board member for 6 years until her term ended in November 2019. During her tenure on the Board, she brought valuable insight and expertise in HR matters to Board discussions.
When not working, Mrs. Williams enjoys spending time with her husband, grandson, two daughters, and son-in-law. Mrs. Williams is also involved in many volunteer and public service projects through her sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and volunteers several times a year for local Special Olympics events.
