Parent Advisory Committee (PAC)

What does the PAC do?

The Parent Advisory Committee updates SCLARC’s Leadership Team on the activities and events of approximately 10 parent groups. To participate in PAC, parent groups should have a membership of at least 20 participants who meet monthly, every other month or quarterly. Of those parent groups that qualify

they are required to select one representative and one alternate to attend the quarterly meetings to discuss community needs, program and resource development. Each parent group receives a yearly stipend in the amount of $500 to help with costs associated with guest speakers, meeting space rentals, office supplies, and printing or copying.

Where are SCLARC’s Parent Advisory
Committee meetings held?

The meetings are held at the South Central Los Angeles Regional Center, located at:
2500 S. Western Avenue, Los Angeles CA 90018.

The Parent Advisory Committee meetings are held quarterly.
