Jenice Turner
Director, Children Services Department
Jenice Turner serves as Director of the Children Services Department at SCLARC. Ms. Turner began her career with SCLARC as a Program Manager in 2008, and has also held the positions of Program Manager II, Chief of Case Management and Assistant Director during her career with the agency.
Currently, Ms. Turner has responsibility for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Children Services Department for individuals ages 3 through 21 years old. While carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, Ms. Turner also has oversight of cases meeting criteria for supports under AB2083 and children with complex care needs. She has extensive experience serving youth within the child welfare, mental health and education systems. She serves as a case management liaison to internal committees and collaborates with outside agencies and community partners.
Ms. Turner actively participates in compliance and risk mitigation reviews, prepares written responses to inquiries and statistical reports, analyzes SCLARC’s trending data, and coordinates case management audits. She possesses excellent leadership skills and has been instrumental in policy development and program implementation.
