His family’s experience with the Regional Center system gave him a deep appreciation for the impact of early intervention and the importance of equitable access to support for all children and families. Mr. Lopez has dedicated much of his professional life to serving underserved communities across Los Angeles. Through his work with various organizations in the telecommunications and technology sectors, he advocated for increased digital access and promoted the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), ensuring that low-income residents had access to essential internet services for education, employment, and daily life. A United States Air Force veteran and the first in his family to attend college, Mr. Lopez earned both his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and his Master of Science in Marketing from National University. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Business with an emphasis in Information Technology, continuing his commitment to lifelong learning and public service. Born and raised in South Los Angeles, Mr. Lopez is passionate about giving back to the community that shaped him. Outside of his professional and academic work, he is an avid sports fan who proudly supports the Los Angeles Rams and LAFC. He is honored to serve on the SCLARC Board and hopes to expand awareness of the organization’s mission while championing equity, access, and meaningful support for families throughout South LA.
