Mr. Murillo has previously served on the SCLARC Board of Directors for 7 years, most recently as Board President. He also served as vice president, treasurer and finance committee chair. He is a proud parent of a Regional Center individual and a diligent advocate for people with disabilities. During the time that he served on the board, he gained plenty of experience and knowledge of how the regional center, as an organization, functions and provides services for our individuals and their families. Mr. Murillo is currently a volunteer coach for his daughter’s special Olympics basketball and softball team, the SCLARC Avengers. He was appointed as a board delegate to represent SCLARC at the ARCA meetings in Sacramento. He is currently employed by the City of South Gate as a Building and Safety Supervisor. As a board member, he would like to continue working together with the board, management and executive team on maintaining a high level of service to the individuals and their families. Mr. Murillo is looking forward to working and serving our community for a long time.
