Position Title: Program Manager (Early Start)
Title of Immediate Supervisor: Director of Clinical Services
Salary Range: $67,799 - $100,170
SUMMARY:
Plans, coordinates, monitors and provides supervision to Service Coordinators who provides on-going case management for children birth up to 3 years of age.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Provides leadership and direction to the Early Start programs.
Develops policy and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state mandates and timeframes. Serves as agency representative and liaison to state and local committees and other community agencies specific to the Early Start program.
Plans and implements workshops, outreach, lectures and trainings for staff, families and professionals in the South Central community.
Must work with data entry to ensure the input of required information into the agency’s software system in a timely manner.
Works closely with Clinical Specialists to ensure resources and the timely provision of services and supports.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides leadership to twenty (20) employees in the Early Start Unit. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Also directly supervises support staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding, coaching and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Master’s degree (M. A.) or equivalent; with three years of related experience and at least one year of supervisory experience or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have experience working in early childhood setting preferably with individuals with a diagnosis of being developmentally disabled or developmentally delayed.
